Flemington attorney named to top state post

FLEMINGTON — Attorney Don Maurice, president of Maurice & Needleman, P.C., has been named the 2009-11 State Compliance Chair for New Jersey by the Members’ Attorney Program of ACA International — the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals.

In his new role, Maurice will serve as a volunteer liaison between the national Members’ Attorney Program and ACA members in the state, by taking calls and serving as a legal resource, speaking at state meetings and writing articles for ACA publications. ACA has more than 5,500 members worldwide.

The Members’ Attorney Program is a division of ACA, which had been created to enable attorneys practicing in the credit and collection arena to better represent clients through various resources. The resources are designed to assist the attorneys in their practices, including information on legislative and case law developments.

Maurice & Needleman, P.C. is a financial services law firm with offices in Flemington and Philadelphia. The firm’s attorneys litigate matters in the state and federal courts for the banking and financial services industry and also practice real estate, bankruptcy and commercial law.
